We were a group of 37 Lourdes pilgrims. We had never stayed at this hotel before - we simply chose it because it was available and fitted our budget. So we had no expectations. The hotel worked hard to accommodate our group, providing breakfast and dinner at a good price, being flexible with meal times, and generally helpful with all aspects of our booking. Rooms were simple, but they were quiet, immaculately quiet, and featured incredibly comfortable mattresses. Breakfast and dinner was good, with dinner being a self-service buffet with a meat option, pasta option, fish option, together with soup, salad, cheese and two choices of dessert. Our group was very happy with this. The hotel featured a well-stocked bar, which is a must for a pilgrimage group. The staff in all areas were lovely - and particularly the front desk staff, who could not have been more helpful. I would happily use this hotel for future trips to Lourdes - it's a good all-round option for a pilgrimage group, good price, good quality. We were all very happy.

For what I paid and what I got it was good value for money. Hotel Angelic is a lovely hotel. Really clean. The staff are good. The room is spacious and comfy. The food is good and not expensive. I have zero complaints and highly recommend. If you want a decent and comfy hotel and you want to spend a reasonable amount of money, meaning that you may not have a lot of money but you still want something really nice and be close to the Sanctuary, this is the ideal hotel! A special thank you to Cathy at the front desk who made me feel so welcome when I arrived. What a lovely sense of humour. There's also a bus stop to the station around the corner and for 1 euro you can get to the station and another bus to the airport

For the price I paid for my room, I was greatly satisfied. The staff were helpful at all times, even if they were a little busy, they would apologize for the wait. The young man at the front desk helped me get my phone activated, and the young girl in the dining room was an angel--the one from Portugal. Sorry I am really bad with names, I could tell that the staff were very conscientious and wanting to make everyone happy. The location was excellent, with an elevator at the end of the road that lowered us to the main level of the town. The bus stop to the train station was a few blocks away. Mainly it is worth the stay for the attention of the staff and the location.

Very close to the sanctuary, as you get out the hotel there’s a lift that takes you down and you are literally a 2 mins walk to the sanctuary. Breakfast was really good, with a good selection or hot, cold and fresh fruits. Rooms are clean and well maintained. The highlight was the staff who were so kind and helpful, my Mum wasn’t well on the last day and I requested for a late check out which they obliged to without making a fuss. Just a note to anyone booking with mobility issues. The hotel is on a slope, just a small stretch so take that into consideration when booking.

Lourdes

Good location, very central (just up hill from main centre). Car park 10 euros per 24 hours, this is a good 5-7 minute walk uphill from hotel, so I'd recommend dropping/picking bags up at the hotel first. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast 10 euros pppd. Limited breakfast choice. Sit canteen style, quite cramped. Room comfy, aircon, large beds, shower over bath.... . Good value, good location.
